The two poker rooms are run by two different companies, so you will be able to take part in many different promotions and tournaments at each one. The only thing they share is the players.

I like the software, because it is easy to use, but I have to admit that Empire Poker's table graphics are fairly simple. They do have characters sitting at the table but you have no real choice in who you can be, but that does not affect the playbility and atmosphere of the games whatsoever. In fact, it enhances the performance and does not eat up your computer's resources. Your connection to their server will always be constant and disruptions are rare..
The Game play is good for anyone from beginners to pro's and I recommend empire poker to anyone looking to play online poker.

Because of the huge number of players here, you are guaranteed to find the game and type of players with the limit you want which fits your budget and mood. Their payouts are exceptionally fast and their support is top notch. I sent an email asking the standard idiotic question as to what 5/10 means and I received a well written, personalised answer within 10 minutes. I have not received an answer this fast from any poker room yet.
