Windows XP Stops I-gamers

Users of Microsoft’s cross platform operating system, Windows XP, may find themselves running into problems when they play their favourite online casinos.

Any players of no-download Java casino games will simply no longer be able to gamble at their preferred sites. However the problem only specifically applies to Microsoft customers who have recently downloaded the new Service Pack 1A and wish to play this type of Java game.

A couple of the affected online casinos, Lasseters and InterCasino, have been good enough to alert their customers to the problem and have come up with some helpful advice. Obviously if you’ve been fortunate to have avoided installing the update so far then simply avoid the problem by not doing so.

Perhaps a little more helpfully the online casinos also suggest that if the update has already been run on your machine then they can point you in the direction of some additional Java software that can remedy the situation. The software you will need to install can be found at the following site: http://java.sun.com/getjava/. For the installation instructions visit http://java.sun.com/getjava/install-windows.html.

Additionally the casinos have also prepared their technical support staff to provide any assistance required.
